Carlin, Nancy,and Kathy, I remember Marilyn from her visits with you on the fourth of July as well as around Christmas. I remember a fourth of July before she had moved down with her daughter, where Carlin had gone to pick up Marilyn and bring her to the party. She and I had a great chat about knitting, old days in Leroy and basically just talking. She was a very nice lady and I am so sorry for your loss. Sending prayers, love and hugs your way.

I always described my grandma as being "everyone's grandma." She treated everyone like a member of her very own family. I don't think I ever heard her say one negative thing about a single person in all my 30 years. Maybe she lived by that old saying "if you cant say anything nice....." She was proud to be a grandmother, but even more so about being a great-grandmother, and what a great woman she was. Her morals and values will forever remain instilled in my life. I will miss her everyday.
