Our family is deeply saddened by this tragic loss. I am thankful that I was able to know Samantha, and I will always cherish the memories of the time we had together, particularly at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jonathan and Samson, to her mother Gayle, and to Justin, as well as all her family and friends. We are claiming I Thessalonians 4- we do not sorrow as those who have no hope. We are so thankful for the promise of heaven and the hope of being reunited with loved ones someday.

Please know that my heart goes out to all of Sam's family at this very sad and confusing time. I had the opportunity to talk with Samantha not that long ago and it was a wonderful visit. You see I don't have just one story....I have our life story! I sit at mom's house with Amanda, Jeremy,Myranda, mom, Aunt Ginger, Dan & Mandy, Aaron, Ben, and the many people that are coming and going these last 2 days..........I remember little things like the big make shift slip and slide mom built us out of a huge roll of black plastic she had. The yard was so bumpy and it left our bodies brusied, but it was the greatest slip and slide EVER!! The kennel, which is now just filled with strorage and lawn mowers was once a very cool playhouse for you, amanda, jeremy and I. Poor Jeremy..... we tortured him so! I don't have very many childhood memories that were made somewhere other than at the Greenmans. Riding to church in mom's old "purple" car. Church camp in the summers, and the many weekends in highschool when we would go out and ...........well you remember, we don't need to tell the world I guess! The black friday early morning shopping trips, breakfast at Shirley's, and coffee at my kitchen table. I will miss you for the rest of my life....and love you forever! I'll be awaiting the day we meet up again.... only this time it won't be uncle Danny bringing you in to sit by me saying " this is Samantha...you be nice to her"....It will be God bringing me to you saying " This is your friend Sam....she's been waiting for you...........
