Carl and Bethany were two of the first kids we met when we came to Country Chapel as pastors in 1991. We loved being with them and watching them grow. Carl was always ready to do whatever we asked of him. I can still see him and Russel singing and doing their "God's Got An Army" skit. He was so like his mother, able to do so many things well. I can hear Sharon calling "Cully, come here" Raelee (our granddaughter) was lucky to have an uncle like Carl. I am so sad at his passing and had hoped he would be around until we got home. Love you always, Carl. Tell your Mom how much I never stop missing her.

Carl was my coach since I was 6. Playing flag football all through until 6th grade. He was my mentor, my friend, my roll model, and was like a dad to me since I don't have one. He was there for me every time even real late at night when he heard i got hurt in practice. He came to my house after his treatment and came right to me. That's the kind of guy he was. Always thinking of others. I will miss him but I know he will always be there watching .
